During the months of September and October there are many opportunities to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.  

Early Release Day

Mark your calendars!  Early Release Day is Friday, September 6th.  Students will be dismissed at 1:00pm.

First PTA Meeting of the 2013-2014 School Year

This Thursday, August 22, from 6:30-8:00pm in the school library. We will be voting on agenda and budget for the year. If you want to be part of the voice for our children, be there! If you have not purchased your $6 membership this year, please do at meeting, or in office. 

Drawing for gift cards, for those who join by August 27th will be next week at School information meeting. Memberships will also be available for sale then. We do still have some shirts available, in 2-3 sizes. Two free with each membership sold through August 27th while supplies last. We are also setting up our new bulletin board, outside gym. We will have dates of future activities, resource information, PTA news and pictures from past events.

"Please keep our PTA families and ALL families in your prayers and thoughts due to the death and destruction suffered by many in the OKC / Moore areas after the recent storms. 
 
Our state PTA president Anna King was called to aid in rescue efforts and is keeping the OKPTA boards abreast of progress. The OKPTA has been in contact with several PTA's in the area and are assisting in many ways."

Fab Lab Teacher Appreciation Gifts

A group of students from Kendall Whittier went to Fab Lab, an MIT fabrication laboratory located in Tulsa's Kendall Whittier area, to assemble keychains as gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week.
